Opportunity: Call for Two Male Actors

Deadline: 5pm, Monday 10 September

We are looking for two male actors to take part in a new short film ‘Fleeting Flights’ by artist and director, David Bethell.


  • ‘Fleeting Flights’ is a short film about a man trying to fly a wooden balloon
  • The production will be filmed in a woodland in the Staffordshire Moorlands near Cheadle
  • Filming will take place across November for two consecutive days. Dates will be confirmed shortly
  • Actors will be expected to read from a script, work with a Director of Photography and a crew on site
  • This role will require physical activity and involve moving wooden sculpture and objects to the extent that you will become tired
  • Previous experience acting experience within films is desirable
  • Male Actor 30 -50 years old, beard, stubble, active and lean

  • A fee of £200 per actor will be offered for two days of filming
  • Expenses towards travel will be paid in addition to the fee
  • Sundries will be provided and amenities will be available on the site
