As one of the core funders for individual artists, Arts Council England grants can unlock and create important developmental opportunities to help you take your practice and ideas to the next level. Led by mentor and arts fundraising specialist Mark Devereux, this in-person workshop will breakdown Arts Council England’s requirements, Lets Create Strategy 2020-30 and the grants programmes available to help remove some of the obstacles to making a strong application.

The workshop will take an in-depth look at the application process for the Developing Your Creative Practice programme – dissecting the questions, sharing up-to-date information and helping frame an idea into a successful project. The session will offer information and advice on how to target your application through use of language and highlight some of the hidden tips to make your project stand out.

Making a strong application, from start to submit is run by Mark Devereux Projects independently from Arts Council England. The workshop shares Mark’s extensive knowledge and strong track record helping individual artists receive successful grant applications.

Testimonials

Mark was invaluable in helping me submit a successful application to the Arts Council England DYCP grant programme. His insight into the process and his support in drawing together different lines of thought and enquiry to create a well thought project proposal and helping me articulate ideas clearly and concisely made a real difference to the quality of the proposal I was able to submit. I look forward to working with Mark further in the future!”

“I had tried unsuccessfully for many demoralising years to get an Arts Council grant. I attended Mark’s webinar on DYCP bids. I found it clear, demystifying and really helpful. I wrote a new bid, sent it to Mark to read over, made some changes based on his feedback, and Boom! I got an ACE grant for the first time ever!”
