Our Studio doors are open for artists across the UK to join Mark Devereux Projects’ new online creative community. Join like-minded artists in a safe online space to openly share and discuss the challenges of what it is to be a practising artist, receiving professional guidance, information and one-to-one mentoring.
Our Studio is a rolling artist membership programme for artists to join at any point through the year. Led by experienced curator and mentor, Mark Devereux, you will have the space and time to ask those all-important questions that arise during your daily practice and check-in on your development through regular accountability sessions. Mark will share his extensive knowledge and experience to help support your practice and career development.
We recognise that it is not always easy to be part of a creative community – whether that’s because you work from home, live in a remote area or have caring responsibilities. By hosting these sessions online, we aim to breakdown some of these barriers and encourage new lasting networks and relationships. Our Studio is underpinned by Mark Devereux Projects’ Safer, Braver Spaces manifesto – creating spaces for artists to share, learn and listen.
As an artist in Our Studio, you will become part of a dynamic, supportive network meeting new artists from different disciplines, backgrounds and geographic areas. Our Studio will include:
- bi-monthly group accountability and advice sessions led by Mark Devereux
- 1 x 1-hour one-to-one mentoring session per year (worth £75)
- access to professional development resources & guidance documents
- access to an online private community setting for regular dialogue & support
- 15% discount on any other courses, workshops and mentoring offered by MDP
We currently offer two different date & time options for the bi-monthly accountability & advice sessions: 2nd Monday of the month (5:30-7pm) & 2nd Thursday of the month (9:30-11am).
Costs
Our Studio full 1-year cost: £150
